JAMMU, Apr 18: Dr Vikas Sharma of SKUAST Jammu has been awarded prestigious Fellow Award 2025 of Society for Integrated Development of Agriculture, Veterinary and Ecological Sciences (SIDAVES) for his significant professional contributions of research / academics in the field of Biochemistry.
The Fellow Award was conferred upon Dr Vikas at 3rd Annual Convention and National Symposium on “Next Generation Agriculture, Horticulture and Livestock Farming (NGA-25)”, organized by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology (SVPUAT) and SIDAVES at Modipuram, Meerut, by Padma Shri Dr Vijaipal Singh, a ronowned Plant Breeder of India.
SIDAVES is a registered professional society / scientific organization, encompassing diverse areas of socio-economic growth of human society through excellence in science, academics and ecological development with its core contention of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Parma Sukham.
Dr Vikas Sharma, son of Harbans Lal Sharma and Pushplata Sharma, of Channi Himmat, Jammu, has been working as a Professor in the Division of Biochemistry, Faculty of Basic Sciences, SKUAST-Jammu. He has guided 10 PhD and 07 MSc students as a Major Advisor.
