JAMMU, Nov 15: Dr Vinay Thusoo today took over as the new Departmental Vigilance Officer, University of Jammu.
The Departmental Vigilance Officer shall function under JU administration and under the aegis of the Anti Corruption Bureau, J&K Government.
He succeeds outgoing Departmental Vigilance Officer Dr Imran Farooq who after a successful tenure of four years has been relieved of this charge.
Dr Vinay Thusoo is Incharge of Media and Official Spokesperson of the University of Jammu. He has twenty years of experience in the area of Media and Public Relations. He was nominated as Social Media Champion, University of Jammu by Ministry of Education, Govt of India and is also Nodal Officer, Jammu University for Prime Minister’s Swacch Bharat Internship Programme, Government of India.
Dr Vinay Thusoo is also a member of the University Business Incubation and Innovation Centre (UBIIC). He is a member of the University of Jammu Special Purpose Vehicle Foundation (UOJSPVF). He is also a member of the Board of Studies in Journalism and Media Studies, JU.
