JAMMU, Aug 3: The renowned Acupressure Doctor of Jammu was conferred with Sanstha Award for his selfless services in treating the number of chronic and bed ridden patients, by Nami Dogri Sanstha, in a function held at KL Saigal Hall, Abhinav Theatre Complex, here today.
The award in the shape of a citation, a shawl and a memento, was presented to Dr Neeraj Vohra, a Gold Medalist, by Minister of State for Planning, Development, Labour and Employment, Ajay Sadhotra, during the function.
Lauding the services of Dr Neeraj, Sadhotra said that Dr Vohra is a skilled Acupressurist and had given relief to a number of chronic and bed-ridden patients including mentally retarded and paralysis affected persons, who even have lost hope of life. He hoped that he (Dr Vohra) will continue his mission to provide relief to such patients in future as well.
Prof Savita Bakshi, additional Secretary, Cultural Academy Jammu, was the chief guest, Secretary general, Press Club of Jammu, Sohail Kazmi was special invitee while SS Anand Lehar, senior advocate, presided over the function.
