JAMMU, Jan 13: Dr. Parveen Yograj, M.S (General Surgery) who is presently working as District Immunization Officer (DIO) Rajouri has been awarded with prestigious Curofy’s 2020 Icon of the year Certificate of Excellence in recognition of his notable performance and contribution for the medical fraternity.
Dr Parveen Yograj, who is a senior doctor in the State Health Department, has worked in different capacities, including Consultant with then Chief Ministers.
The Curofy is a common platform being operated through an exclusive social network App by the doctors of different specialties in the country to communicate and discuss about medical advancements and various diseases and treatments. This is a wide network of over 5 lakh doctors from across the country who share latest techniques, diagnostic experiences in the field of medical sciences on daily basis that ultimately help them in dealing with crucial cases. This platform proved amazingly useful during the current COVID-19 pandemic in the entire country.
Dr. Parveen Yograj is also an active member of Curofy since 2016 and has done immense work in his specialty, i.e. Surgery. Till date he has presented 686 cases and commented over 14000 cases related to surgical, medical and COVID-19 related issues. Only in 2020, he presented 26 cases for discussion including, 80 literary informative presentations on COVID-19 vaccination, a medical video on surgical aspects of COVID-19 disease, World Hypertension Day, World Hepatitis Day and World Immunization week.
