Drake mocks Rihanna in new song

LOS ANGELES, May 13: After ex-boyfriend Chris Brown’s rap targeted Rihanna, a fresh controversy has emerged as rapper Drake has reportedly taken aim at her in a new song.
In his newly-released song, Drake, also known as Drizzy, jibed at the 24-year-old pop star with the verse ‘She could have a Grammy, I still treat her like a nominee’, reported Aceshowbiz.
Drizzy, 25, was romantically linked to the R&B star after her breakup with Brown. Drake even collaborated with her in two songs including a Grammy-nominated single ‘What’s My Name?’ from her 2010 album ‘Loud’.
“I was a pawn. You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I have done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear. I was like, ‘Wow, this feels terrible’,” Drake had said.
Rihanna once explained the split with the rapper.
“We were not really sure what it was. We just went out – my friends, his friends. I definitely was attracted to Drake, but I think it is what it is, like it was what it was. We did not want to take it any further. It was at a really fragile time in my life, so I just did not want to get too serious with anything or anyone at that time,” she said. (PTI)
