JAMMU, Oct 12: Drishay Nat Manch today staged a nukkad on the topic ‘Drug Addiction’ at Rani Park, Jammu.
The nukkad was written by Shashi Bhushan and directed by Shazi Khan. The nukkad successfully throws light on the ill effects of drug consumption. The plot of the nukkad revolves around a person who under the influence of drugs neglects his family and becomes a murderer or thief.
In the end, an appeal to the mass was made by the artists to say no to drugs in order to lead a healthy life. The artist who performed in the nukkad were Shazi Khan, Anil Bhat, Ashish Bhat, Drishti Rajput, Irfana Banoo and Shruti Sharma.
On this occasion, Dharminder Kohli, president of the Drishay Nat Manch said that in future too, the Manch will stage nukkads on various social evils at various places in and around Jammu City to create awareness among general public and students in particular.
