Driver among 3 injured as Sumo rolls down

RAMBAN, Apr 19: Three persons including driver were injured after a Tata Sumo they were travelling in rolled down into gorge on Khari-Mahu link road here.
As per police sources, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03C-0782 skidded off the road and fell into gorge on Khari-Mahu link road resulting into injuries to three persons including driver of the vehicle.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals.
All the injured persons were rescued and shifted to PHC Khari from where they were later referred to Sub District Hospital Banihal for specialized treatment.
The injured were identified as Ashiq Hussain Dar (driver), son of Abdul Rehman Dar, Mohammad Ashiq Hussain Naike, son of Abdul Rehman Naike and Furquan Hussain Dar, son of Abdul Majeed Dar, all residents of Mahu Tehsil Khari district Ramban.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Banihal and investigation started.
