JAMMU, Nov 25: Police arrested a passenger auto driver for endangering human lives.
As per police sources, a police team led by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary during patrolling found a auto bearing registration number JK02BH-4996 carrying 37 passengers against the capacity of 8 passengers.
SDPO immediately intercepted the auto and arrested the driver for endangering human lives. He also made arrangements for the passengers for their onward journey. Passengers were also advised not to sit in overloaded passenger vehicles in future and take care of their precious lives.
A case under FIR Number 274/17 under Section 336 RPC and 3/181 MVA has been registered against the driver at Police Station RS Pura and investigation started.
