JAMMU, Jan 30: A driver has been arrested for slapping a traffic cop near Jeevan Nagar Chowk, falling under the jurisdiction of Satwari police station.
As per police sources, a mini-bus was intercepted by traffic cops near Jeevan Nagar area for documents checking.
The driver of the mini-bus identified as Sukhdev Raj, son of Des Raj of Bishnah misbehaved and slapped HC Davinder Singh of Traffic Police.
The driver was arrested on the spot by the police and a case under FIR Number 21/16 under Section 332 and 353 RPC stands registered at police station Satwari and investigation started.
