POONCH, May 15: The driver was killed on the spot when his Tempo Traveler, fell down into the river near Bufliaz in Surankote Sub Division of Poonch district today.
Police sources said that mishap took place at around 11.30 am when the driver namely-Mohd Naseer Khan (26), son of Mohd Younis, resident of Bufliaz was turning his vehicle (JK12B/5746) on the narrow road at Dandian. While turning back, the vehicle rolled down from the road into the river bank.
The vehicle was also badly damaged and its driver was killed on the spot. The locals and the police rushed to the spot and later removed the dead body of the driver to the local hospital at Bufliaz. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
