UDHAMPUR, Jan 31: A driver died, when the vehicle he was driving rolled down into gorge near Dogra Morh in Kud on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK14B-8675 was on its way to Chanderkote from Jammu, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it plunged into gorge near Dogra Morh in Kud.
After getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the driver to PHC Kud, where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Ishfaq Ahmad (29), son of Gafur Ahmad of Chanderkot, District Ramban.
Kud police has registered a case in this regard and investigation started.
