SUNDERBANI, May 25: A tractor trolley driver was killed in a road accident in Lamberi area of Nowshera sector in district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that the mishap took place when 20-yerar-old Happy was driving his tractor trolley, loaded with gravel from the crusher was moving towards Nowshera. When he reached Lamberi, he lost control and the front part of the tractor lifted up. Due to this the driver got stuck in the middle and the people from nearby areac ran to help and pulled the driver out with great difficulty. The driver died on the spot.
He was identified as Harmeet Singh alias Happy (20), son of Bhola Singh, resident of Lamberi, in Nowshera area of district Rajouri.
After post-mortem at Nowshera hospital, the police handed over the body to the family members. Police registered a case and started investigation.
