RAMBAN, Feb 28: A tipper driver died of electrocution after his vehicle came in contact with transmission line passing through the area near a Railway construction site in Sumbar here on Tuesday.
Police sources said that the ill fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02CS-7031 came in contact with live electric wire killing the driver on spot.
The deceased has been identified as Ajaib Singh, 28, son of, Kaiser Singh, resident of, village Bajmasta, Ramban.
SHO Police Station Dhramkund, Manoj Kumar said body of the driver was shifted to the mortuary of District Hospital Ramban for postmortem and other legal formalities.
