Driver injured as dumper plunges into gorge

RAMBAN, June 20: A driver was injured when the dumper he was driving rolled down into gorge near Dharamkund area, today.
As per police sources, a dumper bearing registration number JKO8D-9254 was on its way from Dharamkund to Ramban when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it plunged into gorge near Dharamkund, resulting into injuries to driver.
On getting information, police team led by SHO Dharamkund Inspector Vijay Kotwal rushed to the spot and shifted the injured driver to district hospital, where he was under going treatment, when last reports came in.
The injured driver has been identified as Ragbir Singh, son of Kuldeep Singh of Khatter District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 13/2020 under section 279 and 337 IPC was registered at Police Station Dharamkund and investigation started.
