JAMMU, July 5: A driver was injured while the truck he was driving rolled down and submerged into river Chenab near Dungi Pulli area of Karol on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
As per police sources, a truck was on its way to Srinagar from Jammu when its driver lost control over the wheels and the vehicle rolled down and submerged into river Chenab near Dungi Pulli area of Karol on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
In the accident, the driver identified as Shabir Ahmad, son of Abdul Majeed of Chappa Batote District Ramban got injured and was rushed to District Hospital Ramban, where he was undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
Batote Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
