KISHTWAR, Jan 23: A driver got injured, when the tipper he was driving met with an accident in Markhal Sigdi, falling under the jurisdiction of Chatroo police station.
As per police sources, a tipper bearing registration number JK02R-4313 carrying sand was on its way to Markhal from Dadpath, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it met with an accident in Markhal Sigdi area of Chatroo this morning.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured driver to nearby hospital, from where he was later referred to district Hospital Kishtwar for advanced treatment.
The injured have been identified as Ashiq Hussain, a resident of District Doda.
Concerned police has taken cognizance in this regard.
