JAMMU, Jan 27: A driver was killed, when the Qualis car he was driving skidded off the road and plunged into gorge at Gangal area, falling under the jurisdiction of Gandoh Police Station.
As per police sources, a driver received serious injuries, when the Qualis car bearing registration number CH04H-1401 he was driving rolled down into gorge at Gangal.
The profusely bleeding driver was shifted to SDH Gandoh and was referred to District Hospital Doda, but he died on the way to hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Altaf Hussain (30), son of Ghulam Rasool, a resident of Kilothran.
After completing legal formalities, the body of the deceased has been handed over to family members for last rites.
Gandoh police has taken cognizance in this regard.
