JAMMU, Apr 18: Driver of a truck was killed in a road accident on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway at Devsool in Ramban district.
Reports said that a truck bearing registration number JK02AG-2855 loaded with Indane LPG cylinders skidded off the road and plunged into deep gorge at Devsool under the jurisdiction of Ramban Police Station.
On getting information about the accident, Quick Reaction Team swung into action and brought out the critically injured driver out of the gorge. However, the driver identified as Mohan Singh, son of Prem Singh of Ramanagar was pronounced as brought dead at District Hospital Ramban.
A case has been registered in this regard.
