KISHTWAR, June 25: A driver was killed, when the Maruti car he was driving rolled down near Watsar area, falling under the jurisdiction of Chatroo police station.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK01V-3418 was on its way to Kishtwar from Srinagar, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it rolled down near Watsar area of Chatroo, resulting into on the spot death of the driver.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body of the deceased to hospital for postmortem.
The deceased has been identified as Mukhtiyar Ahmed, son of Mohammad Amin, a resident of Safakadal, Srinagar.
A case has been registered at Chatroo police station and investigation started.
