Driver posted in Rural Dev Deptt goes missing

JAMMU, Oct 25: A 50-year-old man, posted as a driver in the Rural Development Department (RDD), went missing from his rented accommodation near Railway Station area here on October 23rd, 2023, police said.
They said, Kiker Singh son of late Govind Singh of Deouli, Tehsil Sunderbani, District Rajouri, was posted with Director Rural Development Department Jammu and putting up in a rented accommodation near Panchayat Bhawan, Railway Station, Jammu.
“The family members of Kiker Singh have failed to establish any contact with the latter since October 23 morning as his phone is switched off since then,” police said.
Around 5 feet and 8 inches tall, fair in complexion, Kiker Singh was wearing a blue coloured jacket when he went missing from his rented accommodation.
Police have requested the general public to share information regarding the missing driver on the contact number of Police Station Bahu Fort (0191-2475133) and SHO Bahu Fort (94191-96270).
Meanwhile, a missing report has been lodged at the Police Station Bahu Fort and further investigation has been started to trace the missing driver.
