JAMMU, Aug 3: Ware House Drivers and Cleaners Union today urged upon the Government to solve parking issue at Fruit Mandi, Narwal.
Raising the issue during a general body meeting held today at Ware House Jammu, drivers and cleaners of different type of load carriers said that they are facing problem regarding parking of vehicles at Fruit Mandi and due to this their business has suffered a lot.
“Vehicles coming from different areas to Narwal Fruit Mandi for unloading their goods, remained parked inside the Fruit Mandi for 3 to 4 days without any authority,” said Krishan Singh Manhas, president of Load Carrier Workers Union of Ware House, Jammu.
“Drivers of these outside vehicles even load their vehicles again without seeking proper receipt from the Trade Union of Ware House and thus, caused loss to the later,” Manhas said and appealed the Horticulture Department and the Government to solve the parking issue immediately by providing the space for parking of vehicles coming from different areas of the Union Territory.
