JAMMU, June 27: Divisional Railway User Consultative Committee (DRUCC) member, Nitish Mahajan called on Divisional Traffic Manager (DTM), Jammu RN Meena and discussed about various arrangements for the Amaranth Yatra.
Nitish Mahajan discussed issues pertaining to black-topping of internal links of Railway Station and adjoining areas, sanitation and urinals, maintaining hygiene condition in and around Railway Station and installation of water coolers at various locations.
RN Meena shared information regarding various forthcoming railway projects, up-gradation of Jammu Railway Station with Nitish Mahajan.
Later, Nitish Mahajan also met SP Railway Shiv Kumar Sharma and discussed about prevailing security and law and order situation as well as arrangements put in place to conduct Shri Amarnath Yatra peacefully and securely.
Mahajan was accompanied by Prof BS Puri, Retd CEO, Narinder Sharma, social activist, Ramesh Tikoo, Vinay Abrol and others.
