Drug de-addiction camp held

JAMMU, Apr 27: Care For You, a philanthropic organization, today held a drug de-addiction camp in Chanderkote Ramban to raise awareness about the growing problem of drug addiction in society.
The trainer at the camp discussed in detail the harmful effects of drug addiction, the spread of this menace, and its connection to various crimes that affect people’s lives, especially the younger generation.
The participants shared their views and facts, highlighting that drug abuse are rapidly spreading in society, and many people are falling victim to it.
The participants also suggested ways to curb the spread of drug abuse, such as cutting down its supply chain mechanism, reporting it to law enforcement agencies, and coordinating with civil society to fight this social disease collectively.
The event was attended by notable individuals, including the founder of the NGO, Touseef Malik, the branch head Mohammad Yaseen Rather, the district coordinator Rubeena Malik, religious heads, and other prominent citizens of the area.
In the concluding ceremony, the participants took an oath to fight this menace jointly at all platforms and make Jammu and Kashmir and India a drug-free State.
