UDHAMPUR, Apr 2: Police arrested a drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Udhampur and recovered 5.63 grams of heroin-like substance from his possession.
The accused, identified as Mudassir alias Jugnu, son of Latief of Dhanori, Udhampur, was apprehended by a patrolling team from Police Station Udhampur, led by SHO Raghuvir Singh.
On frisking, 5.63 grams of heroin-like substance was recovered from his possession following which he was arrested on the spot.
A case FIR number 98/2025, under relevant sections of law has been registered in this connection at Police Station Udhampur.
