Srinagar, Aug 12: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Bijbehara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A police spokesman said that on a tipp off, a police party at Bijbehara apprehended a drug peddler identified as Zahid Ahmad Dar and recovered 35 bottles of Codeine Phosphate from him.
He said police have registered a case under FIR number 156/2015 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act and investigation is going on.
