KATRA, Dec 28: The police has arrested a drug- peddler along with 640 tablets of toxic nature from Panthal area today.
A police spokesman said that, a team from Katra Police Station laid a naka at Panthal and intercepted a pedestrian on suspicious grounds. During checking, police recovered 640 tablets of Alprazolam, banned drug from his possession. The arrest was made by police party led by SI Vikas Jasrotia. The drug peddler has been identified as Subash Chander, son of Kashmir Chand, resident of Kandyar Nali, tehsil Katra.
In this connection a case FIR number 207/2015 Under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Katra.
