KATRA, Aug 22: Katra Police today arrested a drug peddler and seized a large quantity of intoxicating tablets from his possession.
The accused was intercepted by cops during patrolling in the jurisdiction of PP Banganga. 60 number of intoxicating tablets of Alprazolam were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Balbeer Singh, son of Shamsher Singh of Puranadaroor, tehsil Katra.
In this regard, a case FIR/No 152/17 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Katra and further investigation was going on.
