UDHAMPUR, Mar 14: Udhampur Police today arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband heroin like narcotic substance from his possession.
The accused, identified as Romi Kumar, son of Bhushan Dass of Press Morh, near Bahu Fort, Jammu was apprehended near PHC Tikri by a Police patrolling party, led by SHO Rehambal, Inspector Nishant Gupta and assisted by IC PP Tikri PSI Abdul Satar under the supervision of DySP Hqrs. Udhampur Sahil Mahajan.
On frisking of accused, Police recovered 35.50 grams of contraband heroin like narcotic substance.
In this regard, case FIR number 48/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered in PS Rehambal and further investigation into matter case been taken up.
