Srinagar, Mar 5: Police claimed to have arrested a man with cannabis in Sopore town in Baramulla district.
A police spokesman said Police has been receiving reports about the activities of drug peddlers in Sopore town.
Reacting to these inputs, this morning Police arrested Ghulam Hassan Hurra son of Ghulam Nabi Hurra with 420 grams of Cannabis (Charas) at Ahad Baba crossing.
The spokesman said an FIR number 31/2014 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been filed and investigation is ongoing.
