SAMBA, Nov 7: Police arrested a drug peddler along with heroin and also took four others into preventive custody.
As per official sources, a team from Police Station Vijaypur laid a naka at Ranjari and apprehended a drug peddler along with 1 gram of heroin.
The arrested person was identified as Pardeep Kumar, son of Jankar Singh of Barota, Ramgarh.
A case FIR Number 172/2022 under section 8/21/22 has been registered at Police Station Vijaypur against aforementioned drug peddler and investigation started.
Meanwhile, similar team also took four drug addicts identified as Kartik Atri alias Katta, son of Tilak Raj of Gurha Morh Vijaypur, Nitish Raina, son of Prem Nath of Daini Samba, Pankaj Singh, son of Avtar Singh of Tahra Kangra Himachal Pradesh, at present Samba and Amit Singh, son of Shiv Darshan of Vijaypur into preventive custody.
In addition to this, three bikes have also been seized on the spot which were being used by them.
