SRINAGAR, May 13: Continuing with its drive against drug menace, Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 480 grams of charas from his possession in Bandipora district today.
A Police spokesman while identifying accused as Mohammad Rafiq Wani, a resident of Athmullah Bandipora said that he was nabbed at a check point established at Nishat Park Bandipora by police party of Police station Bandipora.
“In this regard, a case FIR No. 69/2018 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Bandipora and further investigation set into the motion,” he said.
