REASI, Mar 16: Continuing its drive against drug peddlers, Mahore Police arrested a narcotic smuggler from Ganjote area and seized 200 grams of cannabis from his possession.
The arrested drug peddler belongs to Bonyar Baramulla and was involved in supplying and selling of narcotic drugs in Mahore, Bathoi, Bagga, Jamaslan and Chchi Chaklas areas of Tehsil Mahore.
During the search of the arrested person, namely Majid Gilani son of Anis Ahmed Gilani of Batangi Baramulla, cannabis weighing 200 grams was recovered from his possession.
The recovery was made under the supervision of SDPO Mahore, Khalid Ashraf and Additional SP Surjeet Bhagat. Case FIR number 16/2020 under sections 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered in this connection at Police Station Mahore.
