Reasi/Mahore, Apr 1: Mahore police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 470 grams of cannabis (Charas) from his possession.
As per the police sources, on specific input, a team from Police Station Mahore laid a naka at Wani Mohalla and arrested one person with cannabis namely Mohd Mumtaz Bhat S/o Abdul Hamid Bhat, R/o Mohalla Rourkana of village Badar, of tehsil Mahore during the checking and frisking.
A case FIR No .18/2020,U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Mahore and investigation is taken up.
The naka was made by SHO Mahore, Mohd Aslam Choudhary assisted by SI Shamas Din under the supervision of SDPO Mahore Khalid Ashraf.
