SAMBA, Apr 2: Samba Police has arrested a drug peddler and recovered 140 grams of Charas from his possession at SIDCO Chowk, here, today.
A police party of Police Station (PS) Samba during surprise checking at NHW, SIDCO Chowk Samba intercepted a pedestrian who was moving under suspicious circumstances and heading towards Samba.
During his frisking, a total 140 grams of Charas was recovered from his possession. The accused person identified as Daya Ram, son of Charan Dass of Mandi Pushwalian, Samba has been arrested on the spot and contraband item was also seized.
In this connection, a case FIR No. 103/2021 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Samba and investigation started.
