REASI, Jan 5: District Police Reasi today arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered a small quantity of Heroin from his possession.
The accused, identified as Vicky, son of Chuni Lal of Christian Colony Reasi, was driving a car (JK02AF-3307) from Jammu towards Katra when he was intercepted by a Police party at Check Post Nomain.
During search, three grams of Heroin like substance was recovered from the possession of the accused. Police arrested the accused and seized the recovered Heroin as well as the car.
A case FIR number 03/2022, under section 8, 21, 22 NDPS Act has been registered in this connection at Police Station Katra for further investigation to unearth forward and backward linkages in the case.
