UDHAMPUR, Jan 14: Udhampur Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband Heroin like narcotic substance from his possession.
The accused, identified as Niklesh Goswami, son of Anand Kumar of Main Bus Stand, Udhampur was apprehended by a Police party, led by SHO Udhampur, Chaman Gorkha, during patrolling at Circular road, Udhampur.
During frisking, Police recovered six grams of contraband Heroin like narcotic substance from his possession.
In this regard, FIR number 21/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered in PS Udhampur and further investigation into the case has been taken up.
