UDHAMPUR, Sept 29:
Police today arrested a drug peddler in Ramnagar area and recovered a small quantity of contraband substance Heroin from his possession.
The accused, identified as Rishab Verma of Chigli Chowri Ramnagar, was apprehended by a Police party, led by SHO Ramnagar, Inspector Pushpinder Singh under the supervision of SDPO Ramnagar Dr Bhishm Dubey.
On frisking, 2.10 grams of Heroin like narcotic substance was recovered from his possession. The accused was arrested on the spot and the recovered contraband substance was seized.
In this connection, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at PS Ramnagar for further investigation.
