JAMMU, Apr 11: Jammu and Kashmir Police today claimed that they have arrested a drug peddler and recovered 7 grams of heroin from his possession.
A police spokesperson said that Karan Kumar of Balmiki Colony, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, was arrested by a team of Police Post Narwal led by SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari assisted by SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Shiv Dev Singh and incharge Police Post Narwal, SI Lalit Sharma during routine checking.
“The accused has been booked in case FIR number 114/2023 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and further investigation taken up,” he said.
