KATRA, Feb 7: District Police today arrested a drug peddler and recovered banned drug Alprazolam and Tramadol tablets from his possession.
According to Police, the accused was apprehended during patrolling at Chintamani Katra when he was on way from Katra to Chintamani.
During frisking, one strip of Tramadol IP 50 mg containing 10 tablets and five strips of Alprazolam 0.50 mg (containing 10 tablets each) were recovered from his possession.
On questioning, the person disclosed his identity as Mohan Lal son of Sandokhu Ram, resident of Ward number 11, Arli Hansali, Katra.
A case FIR number 42/2024, under section 8/21/22 NDPS has been registered in this connection at Police Station Katra and investigation was initiated to unearth the backward and forward link.
