UDHAMPUR, Jan 14: Police today arrested a drug peddler near Women Degree College Udhampur and recovered 6 grams of heroin like substance from his possession.
Police team, led by SHO Udhampur, Inspector Raghubir Singh, while conducting surprise vehicle checking near the college, intercepted a bike bearing registration number JK14K- 6445.
During frisking, Police team recovered 6.09 grams of heroin like substance from the bike rider, identified as Adil, son of Mohd Aslam of Lansi, Udhampur.
Police arrested the accused and registered a case FIR under sections 8/21/22 NDPS Act, in this connection at Police Station Udhampur.
