SAMBA, Dec 10: Acting on specific information from District Special Branch (DSB) Samba, a police party of Police Station Samba arrested two persons and recovered 35 grams of charas from their possession.
According to reports headed by Inspector Chanchal Singh, SHO PS Samba under the direct supervision of DySP Hqrs Samba and on the directions of Raja Adil Hamid, I/C SP Samba laid a surprise naka at Mansar Morh Samba and intercepted one car bearing registration no. JK02S / 7161.
During checking of car the police recovered 35 gm of charas from the possession of Mohit Sambyal alias Laddi son of Parshotam Singh resident of Mandi Dansala Samba and Monu Kumar son of Tarsem Lal resident of Pacci Mandi Samba. The accused persons were arrested on spot along with contraband item.
In this regard case FIR No. 267/2017 U/S 8/20/29 NDPS Act stands registered at PS Samba and investigation is going on.
