UDHAMPUR, Jan 6: Udhampur Police arrested a drug peddler from Jakhani naka point and recovered contraband Heroin from his possession.
The accused, identified as Sanjay Kumar, son of Kaku Ram of Ward number 17, Omara Morh, Udhampur, was apprehended by a Police party, led by SHO Udhampur, Chaman Gorkha, under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Udhampur Sahil Mahajan.
On frisking of the accused, Police recovered 13 grams of contraband Heroin like substance from his possession.
In this regard, case FIR number 10/2022, under relevant sections of law has been registered in PS Udhampur and further investigation into matter has been taken up.
