UDHAMPUR, Nov 10: Udhampur Police today arrested a drug peddler from Manthal area and recovered 08 grams of Heroin like narcotic substance from his possession.
The accused, identified as Yaseen Shah, son of Sumander Shah of Dooru, Anantnag was intercepted by a Police party of Police Post Tikri, led by PSI Abdul Satar and assisted by Insp Rajesh Sharma, SHO PS Rehambal, under the supervision of Dy SP Headquarters, Sahil Mahajan.
Police recovered 08 grams of Heroin like narcotic substance from him following which he was arrested on the spot.
In this regard, case FIR number 262/2022 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Rehambal.
