UDHAMPUR, Apr 25: Udhampur Police today arrested a drug peddler from Circular road and recovered 07.35 grams of heroin from his possession.
The accused, who was coming from DFO office side, was apprehended by a police team, led by DySP HQ Gurmeet Singh and SHO Udhampur Inspr Raghubir Singh Choudhary during patrolling.
During search, 07.35 grams of heroin was recovered from the accused, identified as Dalip Singh alias T T, son of Sardar Nanak Singh, resident of Near Link Road, Omarah Morh Udhampur.
In this regard, case FIR number 229/2023, under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Udhampur. Further investigation of the case is going on.
