KATHUA, July 20: Kathua police today arrested a drug peddler and recovered eight grams of heroin from his possession.
According to police on a tip off a team of Police Station, Kathua led by SHO, P S Kathua Amit Sangra today laid a naka at Shaheedi Chowk, here and nabbed a youth. On his frisking the police recovered eight grams of heroin from him which he had to sell among the local youth of the area.
He has been identified as Parvez Ahmad, S/o Bashir Ahmed from Anantnag Kashmir. The Kathua Police has registered a case under NDPS Act against him.
