JAMMU, Feb 27: Katra Police arrested a drug peddler from Nomain area and seized four gms heroin from his possession.
During routine checking of vehicles, officials of naka party stopped a Nano car, bearing Registration Number JK02AQ-2156 and during frisking of the driver, 4 gms of heroin like substance was recovered from his possession .
The accused was identified as Varinder Singh , son of Amreek Singh of Gadigarh, near Airport Road Jammu. In this regard, a case FIR No.37/2021 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Katra.
