SAMBA, Feb 17: A Police party of Police Station, Vijaypur headed by Inspector Suraj Pathania, SHO Vijaypur in close co-ordination of District Special Branch (DSB) Samba and under the direct supervision of Abhishek Sharma, SDPO Vijaypur and on the directives of SSP Samba Anil Magotra laid a surprise naka near Raya Morh Brah & intercepted one Tilak Raj S/o Ram Lal R/o W.NO. 6 Bari Brahmana on suspicious ground.
During frisking, one kg poppy straw was recovered from his possession and the accused was arrested on spot along with contraband items.
In this regard a case FIR No. 27/2018 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act stands registered at PS Vijaypur and investigation started.
