UDHAMPUR, Dec 25: District Police Udhampur arrested one more drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Chenani and recovered 3.14 grams of heroin like substance from his possession.
Police team from PS Chenani apprehended one person namely Musharaf alias Ramboo, son of Mohd. Arif of W.No. 4 Chenani, who turned suspicious as he diverted his way and moved towards the opposite lane (on NHW) on seeing the police team.
Upon conducting thorough frisking, 3.14 grams of heroin like substance was recovered from his possession following which he was arrested on the spot.
On this, a case FIR No. 189/2024 under relevant sections of law has been registered at PS Chenani.
