JAMMU, Aug 19: Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 200 grams cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Ramban Police Station led by SHO Inspector Sunil Sharma laid a naka and intercepted a Wagon-R car bearing Registration Number JK20A-2212.
During checking, police team recovered 200 grams cannabis from the possession of the driver and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Javid Hussain, son of Shams Din of Kundrodian Tehsil Katra district Reasi.
A case under FIR Number 132/2020 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Ramban and investigation started.
