JAMMU, Sept 17: Bhatindi Police arrested a drug peddler along with cannabis.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Post Bhatindi led by SI Kamalpreet Singh under the supervision of SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Deepak Pathania laid a naka and intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JK01AG-7473.
During checking, police team recovered 290 grams cannabis from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Nisar Ahmed Yatoo, son of Ali Mohammad Yatoo of Zadibal, Tehsil Nowshera, District Srinagar.
A case under FIR Number 241/2020 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
